La Roca Church Ecuador

What we got up to in Ecuador in October 2007

Five from Lawn Community Church, went to visit La Roca Church, in Santo Domingo, Ecuador.

In the afternoons we held some seminars on being creative in our worship.

One seminar encouraged people to have a go at some graffiti art as an expression of worship.

Some really enjoyed getting stuck into the painting ...

Another practical seminar was on using flags and banners in worship, learning about the significance of the different colors.

Then they broke up into groups and had a go at doing something with what they had learnt.

The church really embraced this and each group chose a favourite song or Psalm that they could express in movement with the flags and banners that we took along.
