Where we meet

We meet in the Lawn Community Centre which is at the junction of Windsor Road and Guildford Avenue (opposite the shops). There is carparking available next to the Centre.

Directions

From the M4

London direction take Junction 15 the A419, then follow signs to Swindon Town centre along a dual carriageway. At roundabout just inside town border continue straight on into town centre. After half a mile follow turning left into the Lawn Estate.

At a mini roundabout turn left by a row of shops then the Lawn Community Centre and car park are on your right.

From the Swindon Town centre

From the Magic Roundabout go towards the M4 (London). Turn right at the next roundabout, again for the M4 (London). About a mile along that dual carriageway turn right signposted Lawn.

The Lawn Area

Lawn is an area of about 1,400 private homes which spread from the eastern side of parkland known as the Lawns. This land used to be owned by the Goddard family and contained their family house which is now long gone. However the remains of Swindon's first church can still be seen. The wooded estate which contains two lakes is now open to the public.
