A brief history |
In 1995 a group of people from Gorse Hill Baptist Church began meeting on the Lawn estate. To begin with the group met in Lawn Infant School and the Community rooms in the Cleeve Lawns Playgroup huts. |
The Church began to catch the vision of many in the Lawn Community for a Community Centre. |
In January 2002 Lawn Community Church moved into the New Community Centre in Guildford Avenue, the fulfillment of a 30 year dream and hard work for some Lawn residents and the beginning of the fulfillment of God's word for a heart for the community, both practically and spiritually. |
